Palji Parmar, a descendant of Parmars of Ujjain on his way back from Dwarka, he ended up at a temple of Goddess Ambika near Nagar Thatta whom he propriated and bot the throne of Sindh from her in 809. During the reign of Damoji, fourteenth in succession, the kingdom fell to Muslims. Damoji was killed but his son Jusraj regained the throne. After a second invasion, Jusrajji migrated into Gujarat and with the help of the Goddess, carved his estate around Mount Arasur in 1068 AD. He made Gabar Gadh his capital city. He invaded Nagar Thatta again and conquered it amidst much carnage. Nothing is known of this Sindh conquest - it is possible he settled there leaving his son Kedarsinghji in charge in Gabar Gadh and his successors left Sindh around 1245 and entered Kathiawar, finally settling in Muli under Lagdhirji amongst other places.
